Flau’jae Johnson is a young musician who first rose to prominence on the Lifetime reality TV show “The Rap Game.” Known for her impressive lyrical skills and unapologetic style, Johnson has since made a name for herself as a rapper and songwriter, signing with Roc nation record label while also pursuing a successful collegiate basketball career.
Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Johnson showed a natural talent for music from a young age. Her father, the rapper Camoflauge, was tragically killed when Johnson was just a young child, but his legacy and influence lived on in his daughter’s artistic pursuits.
But it was her appearance on “The Rap Game” in 2016 that truly launched Johnson’s career to the next level. Her performance of her original song “I cannot lose” captivated the judges and the audience. She went on to the semifinals but was ultimately eliminated. However, Flau’jae appeared on AGT season 13. During her previous appearance on the show, she performed a cover of ready or not.

In 2023, she became a member of the LSU Tigers women’s basketball team and was a key player in their championship-winning season, earning her a trophy. Flau’jae’s success in both music and sports has earned her a following that admires her talents and her ability to excel in two different fields. She was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team following the 2023 season, and she is expected to continue to be a key player for LSU in the years to come.
